Free Crochet Pattern for Amigurumi Plant - Mushroom


Material:-
  • Worsted - weight yarn, Brown, Red and White colour 
  • F/5 3.75mm crochey hook 
  • Poly-Fil or any stuffing of your choice
  • Yarn needle
  • 3'' diameter plastic pot


Abbreviation Key:-
sc = single crochet
sl st = slip stitch
dec = decrease (join next 2 sts into 1)
inc = increase (2 sc in next st)
BLO = back loop only
FLO = front loop only

Notes:-
  • Crochet in a spiral. Use something to mark the first stitch of a round and move it up as you work. 
  • ''The Magic Circle'' is use to start each piece. Alternative technique: ch 2, then sc x6 into the second chain away from the hook. 
  • Slip stitch to join the round. This creates Round 1.



Mushroom Head:-
Use red colour yarn
Round 1: Magic circle for 6 stitches base
Round 2: inc x 6 = 12 sts
Round 3: ( 1 inc, 1 sc ) x 6 = 18 sts
Round 4: ( 1 inc, 2 sc ) x 6 = 24 sts
Round 5: ( 1 inc, 3 sc ) x 6 = 30 sts
Round 6: sc 30 sts = 30 sts
Round 7: ( 1 inc, 4 sc ) x 6 = 36 sts
Round 8~9: sc 36 sts = 36 sts
Round 10: ( 1 dec, 7 sc ) = 32 sts
*fasten off and leave a 12'' tail for sawing.

Mushroom body:-
Use white colour yarn
Round 1: Magic circle 6 stitches for base
Round 2: inc x 6 = 12 sts
Round 3: ( 1 inc, 1 sc ) x 6 = 18 sts
Round 4~5: sc 18 sts = 18 sts
Round 6: ( 1 dec, 1 sc ) x 6 = 12 sts
Round 7: dec x 6 = 6 sts
Round 8: FLO ( inc x 6 ) = 12 sts
Round 9: ( 1 inc, 1 sc ) x 6 = 18 sts
Round 10: ( 1 inc, 2 sc ) x 6 = 24 sts
Round 11: ( 1 inc, 2 sc ) x 8 = 32 sts
*sl st and leave 12'' tail for sewing.
**stuff MUSHROOM's body with Poly-Fil and sew onto the MUSHROOM's head.

Soil:-
Use brown colour yarn.
Round 1: Magic circle 6 stitches for base
Round 2: inc x 6 = 12 sts
Round 3: ( 1 inc, 1 sc ) x 6 = 18 sts
Round 4: ( 1 inc, 2 sc ) x 6 = 24 sts
Round 5: ( 1 inc, 3 sc ) x 6 = 30 sts
Round 6: ( 1 inc, 4 sc ) x 6 = 36 sts
Round 7~12: sc 36 stitches = 36 sts
Round 13: ( 1 dec, 4 sc ) x 6 = 30 sts
Round 14: ( 1 dec, 3 sc ) x 6 = 24 sts
Round 15: ( 1 dec, 2 sc ) x 6 = 18 sts
Round 16: ( 1 dec, 1 sc ) x 6 = 12 sts
*sl st and stuff the body with Poly-Fil. Position and sew Mushroom onto the SOIL's body.

Amigurumi Plant - Cabbage


Crochet in pot - cabbage (Go Green)
Material:-
  • Worsted-weight yarn, Light Green & Brown color
  • F/5 3.75mm crochet hook
  • Poly-Fil or any stuffing of your choice
  • Yarn needle
  • 10cm plastic pot

Abbreviation Key:-
  • sc = single crochet
  • tr = triple crochet
  • ch = chain
  • sl st = slip stitch
  • dec = decrease (join next 2 sts into 1)
  • inc = increase (2 sc in next st)
  • BLO = back loop only
  • FLO = front loop only

Round 16: ( 1 dec, sc in next 2 sts ) = 18 sts

*Stuff Cabbage body with Poly-Fil and sew onto the SOIL's body.

Use Light Green colour yarn.

Round 2: 3 ch, ( tr inc ) x 6 = 12 sts
Round 3: 3 ch, ( tr inc ) x 12 = 24 sts
Round 4: 3 ch, ( tr inc, tr in next st ) x 12 = 36 sts
Round 5: Fasten off, leave a 12"
*Sew all the leaves to the inside part.
