Free Crochet Pattern for Baby Owl - Amigurumi Animal

Baby owl

Materials:-

• Worsted-weight yarn, Pink & Yellow colour
• F/5 3.75mm crochet hook                                                                 
• Poly-Fil or any stuffing of your choice
• Yarn needle
• Two 8.5mm plastic safety eyes
• White colour felt

Abbreviation Key:-

• sc = single crochet
• ch = chain
• sl st = slip stitch
• dec = decrease (join next 2 sts into 1)
• inc = increase (2 sc in next st)

Notes:-

• I found this Baby owl amigurumi picture online to challenge myself, and this my result. Gauze is not important – just keep maintain a consistent tension throughout the entire project.
• Crochet in a spiral. Use something to mark the first stitch of a round, and move it up as you work.
• “The Magic Circle” is use to start each piece. Alternative technique: ch 2, then sc x6 into the second chain away from the hook. Slip stitch to join the round. This creates Round 1.

Baby owl:-

Use White colour yarn.

Round 1: Magic Circle with a base of 6 stitches

Round 2: inc x6 = 12 sts

Round 3: (1 inc, sc in next st) x6 = 18 sts

Round 4: (1 inc, sc in next 2 sts) x6 = 24 sts

Round 5: (1 inc, sc in next 3 sts) x6 = 30 sts

Round 6: sc in next 30 stitches = 30 sts

Round 7: (1 inc, sc in next 4 sts) x6 = 36 sts

Round 8-15: sc in next 36 stitches = 36 sts

Round 16: (1 dec, sc in next 4 sts) x6 = 30 sts

Round 17: sc in next 30 stitches = 30 sts

Round 18: (1 dec, sc in next 3 st) x6 = 24 sts

Round 19: sc in next 24 stitches = 24 sts

*Insert the plastic safety eyes between Round 9 & Round 10 and attach washers. Eyes should be about 6 sts apart. Both of the plastic safety eyes attach with white colour felt.

**Sew the ▼ shape peck in Round 8 & Round 6 between the eyes.

***Stuff silicone teat with poly-fil

Round 20: Divide the remaining 24 stitches into 12 stitches back & front, respectively and sc it (12 sts) together = 12 sts

材料：-

• 粉紅色 和 黃色棉線（使用雙線）
• 8.5mm娃娃塑膠眼睛 x 2
• 人造棉
• 白色不織布

用具：-

• 5/0號鉤針
• 鉤針/繡花針

貓頭鷹寶寶：-

第1行：起6針 = 6針

第2行：加短針6次 = 12針

第3行：（加短針，短針）6次 = 18針

第4行：（加短針，短針2針）6次 = 24針

第5行：（加短針，短針3針）6次 = 30針

第6行：短針1圈 = 30針

第7行：（加短針，短針4針）6次 = 36針

第8-15行：短針8圈 = 36針

第16行：（減短針，短針4針）6次 = 30針

第17行：短針1圈 = 30針

第18行：（減短針，短針3針）6次 = 24針

第19行：短針1圈 = 24針

*在第9和10行之間嵌入娃娃塑膠眼睛，接著在尾端加上頂托，兩眼間隔6針。在娃娃塑膠眼睛加上圓形白色的不織布。

**在第6和8行之間縫上▼型鼻子的黃色毛線，位置在於兩眼之間。

***處理完至上事項後，往貓頭鷹的身體塞入人造棉。

第20行：剩下的24針，前後夾起來變成12針，只用短針鉤起來。 = 12針
